Carpet cleaning in Northampton

Hot water extraction that pulls ground-in dirt, stains and odours out of the pile, where a vacuum can't reach.

A vacuum cleaner lifts what sits on top of a carpet. Extraction cleans what has worked its way down into it. The machine pushes hot water and cleaning solution into the pile and pulls it straight back out, along with the dirt.

We pre-treat stains and heavy traffic areas first, then extract room by room. Carpets are left damp, not soaked, and most are dry within a few hours with the windows open or the heating on.

Carpet extraction is often booked with an end of tenancy clean, because carpets are one of the first things an inventory check looks at. It is also worth doing on its own once a year in a busy home.

Questions people ask

How long do carpets take to dry?

Most carpets are dry within a few hours. It depends on the carpet, the weather and how much air is moving through the room. Opening windows or running the heating speeds it up.

Will every stain come out?

Most everyday stains do. Some, such as bleach marks, dye or old set-in stains, can be permanent. We'll tell you what to expect before we start.

Do I need to move the furniture?

Please clear small items and anything fragile. Tell us about large furniture when you book and we'll agree how to work around it.

Can I book carpet cleaning with an end of tenancy clean?

Yes, and most tenants do. We price both together and complete them in the same visit.
